Transition from a child to adult is a gradual process. General characteristics that distinguish a child from an adult are innocent thinking, carefree attitude and forgiving nature.

Children realise from day to day incidents that sometimes people fool them because of their innocence. They develop an insight of real situation. Gradually they become smart and that is when they mature to adulation. Age is not the factor, it is the thinking.

They learn that being negligent can result in serious damages. When a child really learns and realises that how to take important decisions or be responsible it can be considered as a growing adulation.

There are myriad events that can be responsible for maturing a child into an adult it all takes place over number of years. No conversion is overnight. Events and situations give the children an understanding how the world works around them, this will give them the responsibility to change the way they think and act.
